History and tradition of Liddell Lodge No. 3616

Our History

Liddell Lodge No. 3616 was consecrated on 14th September 1912. It has a rich history of assisting local communities with charities, Scouts, and Play Groups. The lodge strives to maintain age-old traditions within Freemasonry while embracing modern requirements to encourage new members.

The lodge is a group of masons ranging from young to old, with a common objective of forward thinking — to enhance the wellbeing of each brother and to encourage younger members to ask questions and engage fully in the evening's events.

Affiliation

Liddell Lodge is proud to be affiliated with Durham Freemasons and the United Grand Lodge of England.
